On April 11, Sulli’s brother shared a black screen image on his personal account, accompanied by the words, “If your close friend passes away, you drop everything and go that’s what a true friend does. At least, that’s how I am.”
This led netizens to speculate, commenting, “He’s not wrong”, “Who is he referring to?”, “Most people would agree” and “Is he calling out someone who didn’t come?” Many began mentioning a particular celebrity known to be close friends with Sulli.

Sulli tragically passed away in 2019 at the age of 25. Her brother recently made headlines by referencing Kim Soo-hyun’s film “Real”, claiming Sulli had been pressured into doing nude scenes.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Gold Medalist stated, “The role of Song Yoo-hwa, played by the late Choi Jin-ri (Sulli), involved bed scenes from the start. When casting, it was clearly stated that the role required an actress comfortable with nudity. Just like job listings have essential qualifications, it was a necessary part of the role and was disclosed in advance.”

Furthermore, on April 2, Sulli’s brother mentioned IU, claiming she had initially declined the lead role in “Real”, after which the script was handed to Sulli. He also claimed to have recommended a psychiatrist to Sulli and alleged that the same psychiatrist treated other late celebrities, Goo Hara and Kim Sae-ron. Additionally, he spoke about Sulli’s past, stating she had dated P.O (of Block B) for a year. In response, P.O’s side said, “As this pertains to a private matter, we cannot confirm.”
